Steppin’ For Health

Steppin’ for Health is a school-based health education and childhood obesity prevention program run by H-STAT volunteers each spring. The program aims to increase nutritional knowledge, healthy eating habits, and physical activity among children in grades K-5 in Atlanta.

H-STAT volunteers lead weekly lessons on nutrition and teach physical activity through Steppin’, a form of dance exercise.
